Staying Fit During the Winter Months

If you don’t think exercise is possible after eating a plate full of turkey and stuffing, you may be right.  The next day, however, take a look at jogging. The motivation for heavy activity is low, but you can make it happen if you really want to take care of yourself. Unhealthy holiday eating habits are almost a tradition, and the effects are highly visible.  Once you go through the phase of stuffing yourself and enjoying the company of your family, set aside an hour away from TV and laziness to devote to solid exercise.  Find some running shoes, sweats, and a hoodie and get at it!  I am greatly alarmed by the low number of people I see running in my neighborhood at this time of year.  It isn’t even freezing cold where I live.
